June 10th, 2016: Vanessa and I went to the famous Vitra Design Museum located in Haltingen, Weil am Rhein. It has not been four months, has it? This writing was based of agony: I miss that old town.
So Vitra is famous for it's architecture and particularly the well, pretty chairs/stools/sofas they produce. I can't really talk about it professionally because I honestly don't have a certain amount of knowledge in terms of architecture and design. I simply pass by the museum almost daily back then. I still remember that it was the most time-taking bus-stop, because it was always packed with students (I assume who study design or such) or tourists, who may not speak German but trying to get home and then get annoyed because the bus driver doesn't speak English either. Sigh. (Yes, I just wrote a sigh.) But anyway, the architecture and the chairs. Those are the things I (and probably most in-artistic) would know when people talk about Vitra.
But let's face it, since I am not that sophisticated to even have a clue to understand these chair-arts, I went there with the purpose of... using the property for a mini-instagram-photoshoot.
TOO MUCH AESTHETICS
AND I SHALL PLACE THEM ON THE INTERNET
What do you see in these pictures? It's only one object, in a space
without furniture, barely any colour. But the large clear windows make
such a difference. Lights in general are colours. Could you picture he light towards me was not being a plain sunlight
but a sunset-light instead? Or maybe an ambient moonlight, -- so
cool?!?
What is it about stairs? The thing about taking (Instagram) pictures is that it's all a matter of perspective. but to be honest though, I copied these angles of tumblr and instagram. ADMIT IT, HIPSTERS YOU DO THAT TOO!
I feel odd at Vitra sometimes. It's a place of English speakers. In such a village like Haltingen, this place is filled with international visitors!
I posted this photo after a big break on Instagram. Got a lot of recognition. Thank-you for the candid, Vanessa! I fell in love with the reflections on the glasses.
Vanessa's Fjallraven-Kanken matched the scene perfectly. Thanks, girl! We were basically done after the free photoshoot in that room. So we went outside,
and did a remake of the photo I saw on Instagram that originally inspired me to take Vanessa out on this adventure. Thank-you Instagram hashtags.

I love that spontaneous photo of a happy Vanessa. Thank God for cameras that can capture the moments. I just know that when I look back to this post, I will see this picture and smile again, just as wide as I did right after I took this picture with my camera.
This new building on the Vitra grounds was also one of the main reason why I decided to shut up and go there to take pictures! What is it with plain but pretty walls?
That was it for my Vitragram adventure story! I love looking back to these photos and telling the stories behind it. But of course we did something else before and of course we ate ice cream and döner afterwards. But this is a part of the day I want to share to the world. Damn, I love this internet platform! Here's to that one day in my life with Vanessa. Cheers!
Hab dich lieb, Nessa!♡ Danke nochmal für das Mitkommen:) Bis bald.
